The Brawner Farm Lane. The
homestead can be seen to the north. Around the farm, and the woods, to
the right (they are much larger today), the battle of Second Manassas
opened, when Jackson's 2nd Corps, fought US Brigadier Generals John Gibbon
and Abner Doubleday's brigades in a brutal battle.
