The entrance to Pea Ridge
National Battlefield Park. This park is located outside of Garfield,
AR, in the northwest part of the state. From March 6-8, 1862, CS Major
General Earl Van Dorn would lead his Confederate Army of the West against US
Brigadier General Samuel Curtis' Army of the Southwest.
